Community Grants

Council receives many requests for financial assistance from community groups and organisations. Council’s Community Grants Program is intended to provide a basis for allocating its funds in an effective and equitable manner, based on the individual merits of each request, to address priority community needs.

The aim of these grants is to encourage, develop and support local projects of a community, cultural, environmental, recreational or sporting nature which demonstrate broad-based benefit to all the residents of the district. Grants that address objectives of Councils Strategic Plan will be looked upon favourably.

Community Grant funding of up to $4,000 is available to not-for-profit/non-government entities, incorporated groups and community based groups within the District Council of Cleve.

The organisation submitting the application must be a not-for-profit and non-government entity. Completed applications should be forwarded to Council by 5pm, Friday 9 November 2018.
