Payment of rates
Council has been obligated to offer all ratepayers the opportunity to pay rates in four (4) instalments.
Considering the above, the Council has again decided that the payment of rates will be in four instalments due by no later than 5pm on the 14th day of September 2012, 14th December 2012, 15th March 2013 and 14th June 2013. Rate instalment notices will be forwarded at least 30 days prior to the due date.
Rates may be paid in advance at any time.
As an incentive for early payment, a 2% discount will apply on the full payment of annual Council rates, if paid by the 14th September 2012.
Rates may be paid:
In Person:
At the Council offices by either cheque or cash at;
10 Main St, Cleve between 9.00am - 5.00pm.
Paying by Phone:
Payment can be made by credit card 24 hours a day by phoning 13 18 16. Please Note: Credit card payments will not be accepted by phone at the Council Office.

To pay online you will be redirected to a secure server where your transaction will take place. The Billpay code and the ten digit payment reference number, which can be found on the front or your rates notice will be required. Payment is by credit card - Visa or Mastercard. Select http://www.postbillpay.com.au/ to be redirected.
Any ratepayer who may, or is likely to, experience difficulty with meeting the standard payment arrangements is invited to contact the Manager Corporate Services- Peter Arnold to discuss alternative payment arrangements. Such enquiries are treated confidentially by the Council.
