Public Consultation – Draft Community Land Management Plans
Pursuant to section 197(1) of the Local Government Act 1999, notice is given that, at its meeting on 16 May 2023, the Council resolved to undertake public consultation in relation to Community Land Management Plans.
The Local Government Act 1999 requires Council to develop Community Land Management Plans for all community land either owned or under its care and control if:
- The land falls within the ambit of Section 194(1)(b) or (c); or
- The land is, or is to be, occupied under a lease or licence; or
- Land that has been, or is to be, specifically modified or adapted for the benefit or enjoyment of the community.
A copy of the draft Community Land Management Plans are available for inspection on the Council Website www.cleve.sa.gov.au, at the Council Offices during normal office hours or, upon request, via email or by calling the Council on 08 8628 2004.
Members of the public and interested persons are invited to provide written comment to the Council in respect of the Draft Community Land Management Plans. Written submissions must be received by Council before the close of business on 15th June 2023 and be addressed to the CEO, District Council of Cleve, PO Box 36, Cleve SA 5640 or emailed to council@cleve.sa.gov.au.
