Review of Elector Representation

Notice is hereby given that the District Council of Cleve is undertaking a review to determine whether a change of arrangements are required in respect to elector representation so as to ensure that the electors of the area being adequately and fairly represented.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 12(7) of the Local Government Act 1999, notice is hereby given that Council has prepared a Representation Options Paper which examines the advantages and disadvantages of the various options available in regards to the composition and structure of Council, and the division of the Council area into wards. 

A copy of the Representation Options Paper is available for download below or a copy can be inspected and/or obtained from the Council office, 10 Main Street, Cleve.

Written submissions are invited from interested persons from Thursday 12 January 2017 and should be directed to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 36, Cleve 5640 or emailed to council@cleve.sa.gov.au by close of business on Friday 24 February 2017.
