The Boardwalk is designed to showcase the diverse and pristine beauty of the Arno Bay Estuary and winds through dense mangroves, mudflats and samphire with grass habitats over small tributaries alongside the main estuary waterway. It offers a safe swimming area, recreational fishing, wheelchair access, picnic and BBQ facilities and public toilets.
Winner of the 'Outstanding Environmental Tourism Project' Award Tourism Eyre Peninsula 2005. Winner 'SA Great Award' 2005. SA Community Achievement Award 'Environment and Sustainability 2010' and recipient of may other awards.
